Kraftwerk acquires Jordan GmbH METEC Blechsysteme
With the acquisition of the production and sales divisions of Jordan GmbH METEC Blechsysteme, a German supplier of components, systems and factory equipment, the Swiss Kraftwerk Group has expanded its portfolio and accelerated its global growth.
Mönchaltorf, Switzerland, September 1, 2020 – The international Kraftwerk Group for professional hand tools and workshop equipment, headquartered in Switzerland, has acquired the production and sales divisions of the German firm Jordan GmbH METEC Blechsysteme (known as Jordan-METEC), effective as of September 1, 2020. Based in Stassfurt, the company is an established developer and producer of factory equipment such as workshop carts, work benches and workshop cabinets as well as sheet metal construction technology components and systems for a variety of industrial sectors.
The commercial activities of Jordan-METEC are being integrated into the newly founded Kraftwerk Industry GmbH & Co. KG and will continue to be controlled from the previous location in Stassfurt. The company's 40 employees and its CEO, Reiner Büsching, are being brought on board. With its outstanding innovative strength and sustainable "Made in Germany" customer solutions, Jordan-METEC is sure to make a significant contribution to the future commercial success of the Kraftwerk Group.
Kraftwerk owner and CEO Alexander Pieper stated: "This first acquisition since the Kraftwerk Group takeover in 2016 is an important strategic step for us.
